A genuine 1853 Braided Hair Copper Half Cent Penny Coin, in XF EF Extremely Fine Condition
This scarce copper Braided Hair half cent was struck over 150 years ago. It bears Christian Gobrecht’s classic design. The obverse depicts Liberty wearing a diadem, her long hair in a bun held by beaded cords. The reverse shows HALF CENTS surrounded by a wreath and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
